You must document that you have an English level of B2 or higher in order to study at University College Absalon’s exchange programmes.
The following tests will be accepted:
IELTS
(Minimum score: 6.5)
Oxford Online Placement test
(Minimum score: 75 overall + 75 in each subtest)

MRSA screening requirements (Panel content)
Procedure for MRSA testing of non-Nordic* international students, who will be in clinical practice/internship in Region Zealand and come from non-Nordic countries
* Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Sweden, the Faroe Islands, Greenland og Åland
Risk situations associated with MRSA
- If you as a student within the last 6 months have had an internship at a foreign hospital, nursing home or similar institution outside the Nordic region (see above).
- If you as a student within the last 6 months have worked at an institution in Denmark and or the other Nordic countries, where there has been an outbreak of MRSA in the ward.
- If you have worked or stayed in cramped or poor hygienic conditions such as hostels for the homeless, asylum centers and foreign orphanages.
- If you have been hospitalized for >24 hours and / or had an invasive procedure performed at a hospital outside the Nordic region (regardless of duration, including outpatient procedures).
Test for MRSA
International students living outside the Nordic countries prior to an internship in Region Zealand:
- The test for MRSA must involve swabs from the nose and throat.
- The test must be performed in the home country.
- The test must not be older than 1 month.
- The answer must be in English.
- The international student must present a negative MRSA test on the 1st day at the clinical practice/ internship site.
- This presentation of test result is a prerequisite for the student to enter the Danish clinical practice/ internship.
