Hello there!
My name is Ole, I am 19 Years old and from a small town called Ottenstein in Germany. I am currently in my 2nd year of studies at Absalon.
I grew up bilingual, because my mother is from Germany and my father is from Denmark, so I am fluent in both languages and also have both citizenships.
I moved to Denmark in the August of 2023 to start my studies at Absalon, but why Denmark? I always wanted to live in Denmark because of my heritage and the 'hyggelige' and friendly atmosphere the country presents.
I started at Absalon directly after graduating from high school and the education has given me lots of valuable aspects in learning, but also in social life. The practice-oriented education that you encounter every day at Absalon prepares you very well for the future teacher job and the cultural aspects give you a wider cultural repertoire to draw from in life.
