Research Environment
Movement, creativity, and aesthetically creative work represent unique teaching tools in learning, wellbeing, and education.
The research environment aims to develop creative, aesthetic, and movement-based methods in pedagogical practice.
The research environment’s theme encompasses work with people of all ages, where pedagogues support development, well-being, and learning through creative, aesthetic, and physical learning processes.
Our ambition is to develop creative, aesthetic, and movement-based methods in educational practices. Through this, we contribute to improving well-being and learning among children, young people, and adults in day care, school, and leisure settings, and within social and special education.
Within this research theme, we explore how pedagogues can apply creative, aesthetic, and movement-based methods in their work. We focus on identifying which methods are best suited to specific contexts, and on how pedagogues can structure, lead, and evaluate these methods to maximise their potential for promoting learning, development, and well-being at both group and individual levels.
Our research projects span a wide range of topics related to movement, creativity, and aesthetics in educational practice.
We collaborate broadly with practitioners and other knowledge institutions and are eager to strengthen our collaboration with the wider community as well as with Danish and international research institutions.
