Hi, my name is André Teixeira, I’m 20 years old and I come from Portugal. 

I am in my 5th semester of my Bachelor of Engineering in Biotechnology this Autumn 2024.

I moved to Denmark in September 2022 to pursue my education at Absalon, in Kalundborg.

I like that this course is based in practical, theoretical lessons and interactive experiments. Through which they are applied for the current industry’s needs, thus it gives you an important understanding of the biotech market regarding the pharmaceutical industry.

Absalon unites different cultures within the education, and it can be stressful in the beginning. That is why it helped me to contact a student ambassador, so I could be more aware of any challenges that could appear during that period.
