- Studying Bachelor of Engineering in Biotechnology
- From Poland

Hi!
I’m an 18-year-old student currently pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Biotechnology at Absalon.
While I now live in Kalundborg, I’m originally from Malbork, a small city in northern Poland. Like many of my peers, I’m truly passionate about biotechnology and really enjoy my studies here.
I discovered this programme through online research and decided to apply on my own, drawn by the unique opportunities that Kalundborg offers within the biotech industry.
Kalundborg is the perfect location for studying biotechnology. At Absalon, we benefit from company visits, guest lectures, and study trips to various biotech organisations. The city’s world-renowned biotech symbiosis also creates a dynamic environment for both academic and professional development.
What I appreciate most about studying at Absalon is the practical approach to education. The hands-on lab work is definitely my favourite part of the programme. The faculty is approachable and always ready to support us, creating a collaborative learning atmosphere. Because Absalon is a relatively small university, there’s a personal touch to the teaching and a strong sense of community across semesters.
Even though the programme is academically challenging, there are plenty of opportunities to take breaks and socialise. Absalon organises events to help students connect, and there are also various extracurricular activities, including sports clubs.
If you’d like to know more about the programme or want to become a “student for a day”, feel free to reach out to me in Polish or English at 10638820@edu.pha.dk.
I’d be happy to help!
