Hi! My name is Andra, and I’m from Bucharest, Romania.

For me, an important part of choosing a place to study was how well it could prepare me for the job market. The Bachelor of Engineering in Biotechnology places a strong emphasis on lab work and has excellent industry connections. It has allowed me to experience how theory is applied in the real world and has given me valuable insights into different career paths.

In Kalundborg, the campus has a cosy and welcoming atmosphere, with friendly teachers who are always willing to help. The Danish education system is built around teamwork, so there are plenty of opportunities to meet interesting people from all around the globe! The city itself, although small, has all the charm of a quiet coastal town, and I enjoy walking along the beach while sipping coffee.

I moved to Denmark on my own, without knowing the language or anyone here, and I understand how challenging it can be. What helped me a lot was speaking to a student ambassador, who guided me through living and studying here, both before and after I decided to apply.
