Admission

We require you to upload documentation for your upper secondary exam.
We need all the documents that your final diploma consists of including a transcript with all your subjects.If you have completed another higher education program or parts of one, you also need to upload documentation for this. This documentation must be translated into English.
If you are in doubt about what you need to document or if you fulfill the admissions requirements, please upload documentation for all your educational qualifications to your application and then we will assess the documentation in regards to the admission requirements.

Your upper secondary exam must be equivalent to the Danish higher preparatory exam. We can assess if your qualify for admission of for participation in an admission interview, once we receive an application from you via optagelse.dk or nemstudie.

You need to attend an admission interview, if you have an exam from a country from outside the EU/EAS, if your converted grade point average is below 7,0 on the Danish grading scale or if your final grade average is still unknown.
When we receive your application, we will assess if you need to attend an interview. If you do, we will send you a message via nemstudie with a guide on how to book the interview.
All applicants who fulfills the admission requirements after 15. March will be invited to attend an admission interview. The same goes for applicants from whom we are missing documentation for the admission requirements.

You have to apply for admission at the Teacher Education in Vordingborg with study start in September (summer) KOT 46070.
You have to apply through the Danish application site.
If you are offered admission you can choose to apply for access to the Honours Degree program. You will be asked to choose profile after admission.
Admission interview

The admission interviews will be held in the spring. The application deadline for applying for the teacher education via quota 2 is the 15th of March at noon, and the interviews will take place in the following months.

It is possible to attend an interview at several different University Colleges. If you have applied to more than one University Colleges, you only need to attend one interview as the result of the interview is shared with other University Colleges where you have applied.
Please note that not all University Colleges offer interviews in English.

You can only attend one interview per application round (Summer and Winter admissions).

When we have assessed your application, you will receive more information on NemStudie on how the interview is conducted and how you can book an interview.

The admission interview consists of two different mini interviews, each lasting 15 minutes plus preparation time. You will be given two texts, one per interview.
One of the texts is a case that describes a practice situation in a Danish school. In addition, there will be some questions related to the case that needs to be answered during the conversation.
In relation to the case, you will be evaluated on your motivation, your personal integrity, and ethical dilemmas in school.
The second text is an article that addresses relevant educational issues. There will again be some questions that needs to be answered.
In relation to the article, you will be evaluated on your ability to read and understand a professional text and reflect on the subject as well as your communicative ability.
